The meknek Fillik owned a PIP droid during the High Republic Era. Manufactured by Pui-ui Implement Products, it was eighteen centimeters (seven inches) tall, had black and orange plating, and was equipped with an internal carousel that included custom tools. Fillik did not coddle his PIP droid, unlike his colleague Verosha Aniseya, who was unusually tender toward her PIP droid, Pip.[1]
In 132 BBY,[2] Fillik carried his droid in a side-slung pocket while working on board the Trade Federation WD-2550 Whydah-class yield conveyer Fallon.[1] He transferred it to a holster on his EVA suit when tasked with making repairs to the starship's shield generator on the vessel's exterior while in space. He removed the droid from the holster during repairs, holding it up to the generator before returning it to the holster.[3]
Behind the scenes
Fillik's PIP droid appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired June 4, 2024 on Disney+.[4] The scenes on the Fallon were shot at Shinfield Studios,[5] England.[6]
