"That's a big desert for it get lost in."
"I held onto the bandit's blaster. I don't have any use for it, but it is yours if you find my bantha and bring it back."

A human mechanic and moisture farmer with tan skin and brown eyes operated a farm in the Desert Valley region of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine[1] in 3 ABY. That year,[2] they were ambushed by a bandit while on their way back to their farm from the market in the city Bestine with their bantha. They were able to deal with the bandit and recover his blaster, however the blaster fire had scared the bantha causing it to run away. Unable to find the bantha, the farmer returned to their farm while wearing a tan vest over a tan shirt, green pants, a matching green hat, and white boots.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars Outlaws. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

Later in 3 ABY,[2] the farmer met the scoundrel Kay Vess while she was passing by the farm. After telling Vess about their missing bantha, the farmer offered her the bandit's blaster if she was able to recover the missing bantha. Vess later found the missing bantha in the desert north of the farm and guided it back to the farmer where the farmer thanked Vess for her help and gave her the recovered blaster.[1]

Behind the scenes

The mechanic appeared as part of the "Bantha Herding" intel questin the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They are identified by the game's subtitles as simply "mechanic" and as a "moisture farmer" by the quest description. Completing the quest rewards the player with the "Patina Coating" cosmetic which they can use to customize the appearance of Kay's blaster.[1]
