A thrust accelerator was a type of component used on a starship accelerator in an engine to boost the accelerator output by almost two times the original amount. A factory on the planet Deppani made thrust accelerators to use on their starships. The factory was one of the only ones to make thrust accelerators, as they were extremely hard to make, which set them apart from other starship manufacturers.[1] In 232 BBY,[2] Taborr and his gang stole an accelerator to upgrade a ship.[1]
