- "I'm beginning to wonder if the Meatlump King has avoided being found simply due to the buffoonery of his followers."
- ―Vani Korr, to a spacer
Strilath Farles was a Human male Meatlump criminal who lived in the Corellian system during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
- " Well the thing is, I don't actually remember where the hideout is. I thought it was here in Doaba Guerfel, so I came here...again...to look for it...again. But still can't find it. It's a really well hidden hideout. Unless it's someplace else. Though it's probably still well hidden."
- ―Strilath Farles, to a spacer
Strilath Farles was a lieutenant in the Meatlump gang, a Corellian band of anti-technology thugs. After the Battle of Yavin, he was leading a group of Meatlumps based on the planet Talus. Farles had relocated from Corellia to Talus since he was engaged in a violent conflict with a group of Ragtag criminals led by Gramo Murah.[1]
In 1 ABY,[3] the Meatlumps on Talus attacked Sul Prine's house near the city of Dearic and smashed several speeder bikes. When Vani Korr, a Corellia Times reporter who was investigating the Meatlumps, learned of this attack, she tasked a spacer to investigate. The spacer met Sul Prine and then used a map lost by one of the Meatlumps during the attack to localize their camp. The adventurer attacked the camp, killing some Meatlumps in the process, and forced the others to reveal the identity of their leader: Strilath Farles.[1]
In the meantime, Strilath Farles was on Corellia.[1] The man had traveled to the city of Doaba Guerfel in order to search the Meatlump Hideout; as he did not manage to remember its location.[2] Also looking for the Meatlump Hideout, the spacer confronted Strilath Farles in Doaba Guerfel. Defeated, the criminal accepted to exchange information with the spacer if the latter accepted to rid him of some Ragtags.[1] The spacer thus attacked the Ragtag Base in the Nomad Mountains and killed Gramo Murah and his goons. When the spacer returned to Doaba Guerfel, Strilath Farles still ignored the location of the Meatlump Hideout and preferred to flee rather than suffering the wrath of the spacer.[2]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
