Qualai was a small, low-gravity, terrestrial planet[1] located in the Qualai system within the Kallea sector[3] on the edge of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and in the Western Reaches.[2] It was situated in grid square K-21 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[4] In 232 BBY,[5] a garden module on the Starlight Beacon space station had soil native to Qualai filling its base, which Jedi Knight Elzar Mann mentally noted as he and Jedi Master Avar Kriss walked through the module.[1]
Behind the scenes
Qualai was first mentioned in the 2021 novel Light of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[6]
