Neel's hoverbike was an inexpensive hoverbike owned by the Myykian Neel on the planet At Attin during the New Republic Era.
Characteristics
The hoverbike was an inexpensive recreation speeder owned by the Myykian Neel[1] on the planet At Attin during the New Republic Era.[2] It was 1.04 meters long, 0.75 meters wide, 0.77 meters high and was decorated with red streamers from the handlebars.[1]
History
Neel with his hoverbike
Around 9 ABY,[3] after taking the Career Assessment Test, Neel is asked by his human friend Wim to accompany him to explore what he believed might be a Jedi Temple in a ravine in the forest. After retrieving shovels from Neel's garage the boys walked their bikes through the forest.[2]
The two later rode their bikes through the city during the Invasion of At Attin, this time joined by Wim's father Wendle on a borrowed bike. Silvo's pirates pursued the trio as they raced along the halls of At Attin Middle School Gamma. One dropship shot through the building's windows and hit Neel's hoverbike, sending the boy flying. The bike was destroyed, but its rider was uninjured; he rolled away and continued to fight the pirates.[4]
Behind the scenes
The hoverbike first appeared in "This Could Be a Real Adventure,"[2] the first episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, which aired on December 2, 2024.[5]

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew — "This Could Be a Real Adventure"
- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" of The Mandalorian Season One to 9 ABY. In addition,
"A Certain Point of View" — Star Wars Insider 228 also dates "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" to nine years after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which corresponds to 9 ABY per Timelines. "Part Seven: Dreams and Madness" takes place after the conflict on Mandalore, which is the main event depicted in "Chapter 23: The Spies" and "Chapter 24: The Return," the final two episodes of The Mandalorian Season Three. Therefore, Seasons One through Three of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must all be set in 9 ABY as well.
SWCA 2022: 20 Highlights from Lucasfilm's Studio Showcase on StarWars.com (backup link) states that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew takes place in the same timeframe as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Star Wars: Ahsoka—the latter of which can also be dated to 9 ABY following the reasoning here. As such, Skeleton Crew must take place around 9 ABY as well.
