A habitat adjustment officer was an individual tasked with providing other beings with atmospheres they required. A space station located in the Khepi system within Wild Space named Hauler's Keep had one such officer[1] around 3 ABY. Around that year,[2] announcements were made in Galactic Basic over the station's speaker system informing guests to contact the habitat adjustment officer if they were in need of non-oxygenic gases.[1]

Habitat adjustment officers were mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which was released on May 15, 2025.[3] They are mentioned in one of several ambient announcement that players can overhear while on Hauler's Keep.[1]

Per narrative director Navid Khavari's comments, the game's "A Pirate's Fortune" DLC chronologically occurs immediately after the end of Outlaws's main events, meaning the DLC must have taken place around that year.
