A B1 battle droid sergeant served the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars

History

In 22 BBY, this battle droid sergeant was stationed on the planet Teth to guard the B'omarr monastery, where the Separatists were holding Jabba the Hutt's kidnapped son, Rotta. When the Grand Army of the Republic arrived to rescue the Huttlet, the sergeant was the first to spot the approaching Republic Low Altitude Assault Transports which they reported to their commanding officer. However, they expressed confusion when their commander told them to aim at a sector, causing their commander to irritably point at the location.^[1]

As the Battle of Teth began, the Republic forces took shelter from Separatist droid fire at the base of the mesa on which the monastery was situated. While trying to locate the enemy troops at the base of the cliff, the sergeant leaned too far over the edge and plummeted to their destruction on the jungle floor below, their goggles falling after them.^[1]
