- "What do you think of this?"
"I think you wouldn't put a credit stick that valuable in front of me if it was real."
"So you're smarter than the average scum. It's counterfeit. I need your help to stop them from circulating immediately. If the Empire finds out fake credits are moving through the Pyke market..."
"I thought the Imps were more than happy to look the other way around here."
"The Governor may but the Galactic Bank does not." - ―Pyke to Kay Vess

Biography
The Pyke was a member of the criminal Pyke Syndicate[1] in 3 ABY.[2] During which they investigated circulation of counterfeit credits in the city Mirogana on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. While Thorden, the Imperial Governor of the moon, would have most likely have ignored the counterfeiting, the Pyke was concerned about it gaining the attention of the Imperial Galactic Bank. Since merchants in the Pyke market area were cautious around members of the syndicate, the Pyke began looking for an outsider.[1]
That year,[2] while sitting at a table in Mirogana, the Pyke struck up a conversation with the scoundrel Kay Vess by asking what she made of the credit chips they had on the table. who had been passed by the table they were sitting at in Mirogana when the Pyke called her over. After Vess correctly recognized them as forgers the Pyke recruited to find the source of the counterfeit credits under the condition that she was paid in real credits. Vess eventually traced the credits to the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn and faced the choice of telling the Pyke or warning the Dawn that the Pykes were on to the scam.[1]
Personality and traits
The Pyke had teal skin, black eyes and spoke Galactic Basic.[1]
Equipment
During the search, the Pyke wore teal armor over a teal tunic, black gloves and black boots.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Pyke appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. They are a part of the "Counterfeit Credits" intel quest and are identified by the subtitles as simply "Pyke." In earlier versions of the game, the Pyke sat at a table in the Pyke Cardroom in Mirogana but in later versions of the game they sit at or at a table on the second floor balcony above the fathier racing terminal. If the player chooses to tell the Pykes then they will return to the Pyke and be rewarded with 250 credits and a reputational boost with the Pyke Syndicate. However if they choose to warn Crimson Dawn they will not return to the Pyke and be rewarded with only a reputational boost with Crimson Dawn.[1]
