Control was one of the many types of games played in the Grand Arena. In Control, the Hunters had to capture a designated point and hold it for a certain amount of time.[1]

Behind the scenes

Control first appeared in the canon video game Star Wars: Hunters as one of the playable game modes, which was developed by NaturalMotion's BossAlien and published by Zynga[2] on November 16, 2021, as a soft launch to select countries.[3] The game mode followed the standard video game concept of king of the hill,[4] in which two teams had the same objective of taking control of a specific point and defend it until they reach a certain threshold to win.[2] Following the introduction of game modes Dynamic Control[5] and Power Control to the game,[6] Control was removed from the game's rotation and has yet to make a return to Star Wars: Hunters since soft launch.[2]
