- "A 38% increase in Ghorman. Ghorman, of all places."
"I'm not sure linking anything to Ghorman right now is a good idea." - ―Mon Mothma to senator
A Cingulon senator worked for the Imperial Senate during the Imperial Era.[1] He[2] had white skin and red eyes. In 3 BBY, he met with Senator Mon Mothma who was trying to get votes in the senate to challenge Emperor Palpatine's extension of the Public Order Resentencing Directive. During the meeting Mothma presented him with the rise in conviction numbers in peaceful places, like Kaifo, Tepasi and Ghorman. He responded by telling Mothma that linking Ghorman to anything then would not be a good idea. While meeting with Mothma he wore a long grey robe and a large necklace.[1]
Behind the scenes
- "This was a make-up effect. I always enjoy it when there's a make-up that might work. We called him 'Lettuce Head'. He was played by Nick Kellington. I think for the senators, generally, they gave us a little bit more of an opportunity to show our wares and do a little bit more of a performance, both a performer's performance and an animatronic performance."
- ―Neal Scanlan
The senator was portrayed by Nick Kellington and appeared in the second season of the live-action series Star Wars: Andor, first appearing in the series's fourth episode, "Ever Been to Ghorman?," which was released on Disney+[1] on April 29, 2025.[3] He was listed in the episode's credits as simply "Senator #4",[1] and was nicknamed "Lettuce Head" during production.[2]
