Aquint Garva was an informant who resided in the galaxy.^[2] Between 40 BBY and 32 BBY,^[1] Jedi Padawan Tensu Run and Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn attempted to locate Garva on the moon of K'shar, who had information in regards to Corlis Rath, an individual who attempted to kill Jinn. While venturing in the streets of the moon, they eventually found the corpse of Garva who had been killed by Rath.^[2]

As Star Wars Propaganda: A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy establishes that the Supreme Chancellor served four-year terms, and the flashback section of Tarkin which mentions of Valorum's re-election is dated to 36 BBY by Star Wars: Timelines, Valorum must have served as Chancellor beginning in 40 BBY. Timelines also dates the end of Valorum's time as Chancellor to 32 BBY, therefore meaning Jedi Knights must take place between those two years. As the events of "The Moon of Death," which include the death of Aquint Garva on K'shar, occur during the events of Jedi Knights, they must also take place between those two years.
