Field Commander was a position held by commanding officers on the ground during battle. The Stormtrooper Commander Atty held the position during the Galactic Empire's pacification of Ontotho.[2] For the Trade Federation's Invasion of Naboo, OOM command battle droid OOM-9 served as the Trade Federation Droid Army's Field Commander during the Great Grass Plains battle on Naboo.[1] The Kilji species' battle fleet, the Illumine Kilhorde, had several field commanders.[3]
