Fallen Mound was a rock formation in the Boulder Forest region on the moon Toshara that had collapsed due to the moon's tumultuous weather. At some point before 3 ABY a weather station was built at the mound however it was destroyed during the mound's collapse. Doctor Maia Revlin organized a scientific expedition to the mound before or during 3 ABY[2] and found a carved piece of amberine at the site. However the expedition team were forced to abandon their camp and leave the artifact behind due to local predators. Later Revlin wrote up a wrote up a report on the expedition which was later left on a datapad in the Mirogana Market.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess was able to travel through a wind tunnel in the mound after the speeder mechanic, Selo Rovak upgraded Vess's S57 Cardinal speeder bike. In the mound Vess found a smoke bomb compressor and a piece of amber stone[1]
Behind the scenes
Fallen Mound appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws. The area is only accessible after the player finished "The Mechanic" side quest which adds the boost ability to the player's speeder bike. The smoke bomb compressor that is found in the mound is a key part in unlocking the "Smoke Bomb" ability from the mechanic expert abilities. The Overgrown Amber Stone that is found in the mound can be used as a major charm which both increased the players health and grants a surge of adrenaline when losing a significant amount of health.[1]
