"Our expedition to the Fallen Mound was a journey into the unknown. This mound, nestled in the heart of the steppes, is a testament to the moon's tumultuous weather. The abandoned weather station, a casualty of the mound's collapse, stands as a stark reminder of the area's inherent dangers."
―Part of Maia Revlin's expedition report[1]

Maia Revlin was a doctor who[1] by 3 ABY[2] had organized a scientific expedition to an abandoned weather station in the Fallen Mound, a collapsed rock formation on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. During the expedition, Revlin's team found an amberine artifact that was rumored to have health preserving properties. Local predators eventually forced the team to abandon their encampment leaving behind their equipment as well as the piece of amberine. Revlin later wrote a report about the expedition, in which they described the mound's collapse as a testament to the moon's tumultuous weather. A copy of the report was stored on a datapad which had been left in Mirogana Market in the city Mirogana on Toshara[1] by 3 ABY.[2]

That year,[2] the thief Kay Vess found the datapad and read Revlin's report. She later traveled to the Fallen Mound and recovered the amberine artifact.[1]
