The Aki-Aki Fadda-Rarb Arda worked as a tribal guardian of communally raised children on the planet Pasaana. Having reached adulthood,[1] Arda attended the Festival of the Ancestors in the Forbidden Valley[2] in 35 ABY.[3] At the festival, stood by some of the festival's tents with fellow guardian Jesba-Be Issa, both holding infant Aki-Aki. While Arda cooed over the infant, Resistance agents searching for a Sith wayfinder passed by the guardians.[2] Arda wore a red robe and had gray skin and brown eyes.[1]
Behind the scenes
Fadda-Rarb Arda was created for the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker,[2] and was identified in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] Creature and droid puppeteer Barbara Fadden[2] portrayed the character, with Fadda-Rarb Arda being a partial anagram of the performer's name. Fadden also portrayed Faddaff Davenspon and Odla Sur in the film.[4]
