The Eyttyrmin Batiiv, also known as the Eyttyrmin Pirates,[1] was a pirate group that emerged shortly after the formation of the Galactic Empire. They were fairly successful for some time, until the Empire crushed them at the Battle of Khuiumin.
Of the group's eight thousand members, less than three hundred survived the battle. The remnants, who came to be known as the Khuiumin Survivors, eventually settled on the planet Courkrus, doing occasional work with Leonia Tavira's Invids.
Behind the scenes
The 1997 sourcebook Pirates & Privateers mistakenly spells the pirate group's name as "Ettyrmin Batiiv."[2]
