Extensor arms were droid manipulators installed on Hound-W2 SPD droids. Each arm was capable of extending up to fifteen meters in length so that it could access difficult to reach areas. Each extensor arm was tipped by a different sensor module; a laser scan emitter, a pulse scan emitter, a thermal imager, and a directionalized audio receptor.[1]
