Explorer droid

An explorer droid or exploration droid was a class two droid designed to investigate new planets. They were assigned to scout vessels. They were often equipped with repulsorlift units and advanced sensors. Exploration droids were one of the main subcategories of second-degree droids, along with astromech droids, environmental droids, engineering droids, and sophisticated repair droids. One model of exploration droid was the M38-series explorer droid manufactured by LesTech.
