The Expansionary Fleet complex was a military complex of the Chiss Ascendancy's Expansionary Defense Fleet located on the planet Naporar[1] in the Unknown Regions.[2] The Taharim Academy was located on the complex.[1] Between 39 and 37 BBY,[3] the Chiss cadet Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," underwent training at the complex while attending Taharim Academy. At another point, the sky-walker navigator Ali'astov received her sky-walker training at the complex.[1]

The Expansionary Fleet complex was mentioned in in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
