A green-bladed lightsaber was the personal weapon of Jedi Master Even Piell during the Clone Wars.[1] It was shorter than average to account for the Lannik Jedi Master's diminutive size, which would make wielding a full-size lightsaber impractical, and had a chrome-like sheen to its hilt.[4]
Master Piell wielded his green-bladed weapon during his tenure as a member of the Jedi High Council and a General in the Clone Wars. After a mission where he recovered coordinates for a secret hyperspace lane called the Nexus Route, Piell's Jedi cruiser came under attack by a Separatist fleet and he was captured after droidekas boarded his ship and surrounded him. Piell was taken to the Citadel, a prison on Lola Sayu that had once been intended to hold Jedi if they ever fell to the dark side, and tortured in an attempt to get the information out of him. A Republic task force led by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived to rescue him, however, with Kenobi returning Piell's lightsaber to him. Piell used the weapon several times during the course of the escape, destroying a probe droid and several crab droids, but was fatally wounded by an anooba and passed on his half of the coordinates to Ahsoka Tano before perishing. His lightsaber was returned to the Jedi Temple.[1][5]

- ↑ Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the events of Ghosts of Mortis and Water War to 20 BBY. As The Citadel takes place between those two episodes according to
Star Wars: The Clone Wars Chronological Episode Order on StarWars.com (backup link), the episode must also take place in 20 BBY and hence Piell's lightsaber was constructed before then.
