Eleton was a type of blaster gas used from the High Republic Era[1] until at least the Galactic Civil War. It could be compressed and carried inside small ampoules.[2]

A small amount of the gas was used by Ambassador Ceeril to stage an assassination attempt against himself.[1] Decades later, Rebel Alliance spy Cassian Andor carried eight ampoules of compressed eleton gas in his belt to quickly refill his blaster.[2]
