An electroharpoon was a type of harpoon. During the High Republic Era, the mother of the Heliko girl Haze Delik was a historian from the aquatic world Helikoprion who focused on ancient queens of underwater worlds that wielded weapons such as electroharpoons and tridents.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] sometime after the death of her parents, Delik thought about them while on the planet Palagosal and mentally recalled the ancient queens that had used electroharpoons which her mother had focused on.[1]

Electroharpoons were mentioned in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
