During the Nihil conflict, the planet Eiram endured a massive cyclone disaster that covered nearly an entire continent[2] and laid waste to the world. In response, the Galactic Republic dispatched Starlight Beacon, as the Dalnan evacuation had proved the space station could be effective at disaster relief upon arriving over the site of a crisis.[1] It remained over Eiram for some time, leaving it to the site where the space station was destroyed.[2]
