Edcel Bar Gane was a Roonan male Senator in the Senate of the Galactic Republic. He was senator during the Naboo Crisis[5] in 32 BBY[6] and remained in the position during the Clone Wars.[4] He wore a dark blue velvet overcoat.[7]
Gane had the same last name as Den Gane,[8] a politician in the Imperial Senate of the Galactic Empire,[9] who represented the world of Roona,[8] Edcel Bar Gane's homeworld;[1] but was of a different species.[8]
Personality and traits
Edcel Bar Gane was a Roonan[1] male[2] who was 1.72 meters 5 feet, 8 inches) tall,[1] with ice-blue eyes[3] and gray skin.[4] Gane was a veteran senator, who helped oust Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum from office ten years before the Clone Wars.[6] Gane was an outspoken supporter of Palpatine. Gane was hot-tempered and opposed any attempt to seek peace with the Separatists.[1]
Skills and abilities
As a member of the Galactic Senate, Gane was experienced in politics and had advanced legislative knowledge.[1]
