E-5C heavy blaster rifle

The E-5C heavy blaster rifle,^[1] known simply as the E-5C,^[5] was a model of heavy blaster rifle.^[1] The E-5C was identical to the default E-5 blaster rifle used by the battle droids, save for an added wooden stock and modified barrel.^[4] The bounty hunter C-21 Highsinger used an E-5C during the Clone Wars.^[3] Hondo Ohnaka's pirates also made use of this weapon, particularly Gwarm.^[2] The Heavy Battle Droids employed by the Confederacy of Independent Systems were notorious for using these blasters to rain fire upon the clone troopers of the Galactic Republic.^[4] Standard B1-series battle droids were also sometimes equipped with the E-5C^[6] as "E-5C B1 Troopers."^[7]

Shriv Suurgav, an officer in the Alliance to Restore the Republic, made use of an E-5C during the Battle of Theed.^[4]
