A durkii was a large purple bipedal reptilian monster known for fits of rage when effected with kleex.
Luminara Unduli defeated a durkii in the Arena of Doom using no Force abilities, but only simple physics.[2]
The evil vizier Ko Zatec-Cha kept a hungry durkii at the bottom of a deep dungeon pit on the planet Tammuz-an. He cast the royal prince Mon Julpa and his friends into the pit in the hope that the durkii would destroy them. The astromech droid R2-D2 quelled the creature's temper by removing a parasitic insect known as a kleex from its scaly hide.[1]
