Dunkutu Day was an annual celebration celebrated by the people of Omaka. It was traditionally celebrated with a big feast in the center of town.[1]

Behind the scenes

Dunkutu Day first appeared in the Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures episode "The Harvest Feast."[1] Showrunner Michael Olson said the holiday was reminiscent of the real-world holiday Thanksgiving.[2] Thanksgiving is mentioned in the non-canon Legends book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas.[3]
