A Dud II piece hanging from a handlebar
A Dud II was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled a Thermal Detonator. A single Dud was worth a negative point with each additional Dud doubling that negative score.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] one such piece had been stored in a container near a crashed ship at Haskà Circle in the Boulder Forest region of the Outer Rim moon Toshara.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] a thief named Kay Vess found the container and stole the Dud II piece.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Dud II Canto Pass piece appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was one of several Canto Pass pieces that could be collected in the game and used as trinkets to customize the appearance of the player's S57 Cardinal speeder bike and the interior of the Trailblazer, the player's EML-850 light freighter.[1]
