Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

This personal energy shield was used by BX-series droid commandos. A number of commandos stationed at the Citadel used the energy shield model.[1] One grouping of BX units deployed as a strike team at one point included several units equipped with the energy shield model.[2] It was resistant to blaster fire, and weapons could pass through the shield, allowing the user to fire their blaster from relative safety.[1]
