Drama Korr was a wealthy Human woman from Corellia who lived during the final years of the Galactic Republic, renowned for her refined taste, business acumen, and indulgent lifestyle. As one of Corellia's most prominent industrial financiers, she amassed a vast fortune through shipping and luxury trade ventures, often competing with other magnates across the Core Worlds. Among her fiercest rivals was the influential entrepreneur Xist, whose dealings in military contracts and illicit ventures frequently clashed with her own.[2]
In 19 BBY, as the Clone Wars raged across the galaxy, Korr sought a period of rest and leisure on the Mid Rim resort world of Maramere, traveling aboard her lavish personal space yacht with a small entourage of attendants and guards. However, as her ship exited hyperspace near the system, it was suddenly ambushed by the bounty hunter Durge, who obliterated her vessel in a merciless attack. Unknown to the Republic at the time, Korr's death had been orchestrated in secret by Count Dooku himself, acting on behalf of Xist, who had grown weary of her interference in his trade operations. The assassination served as both a personal favor and a political move, removing a wealthy Corellian whose influence might have complicated the Separatist's economic interests. Drama Korr and her entire crew perished in the assault, their destruction quietly buried under the chaos of the war, leaving her rival's empire to flourish unchecked.[3]
