The Dragon Kite was a flight maneuver used by pilots of the New Republic after the Battle of Endor. Four years after the destruction of Alderaan, pilots of the Temperance battle group were warned to only perform this maneuver in open space, along with the Antilles Intercept and most of all, the Enlightened Bantha.[2]

Behind the scenes

Dragon Kite was first mentioned in Star Wars Canon in the 2020 video game Star Wars: Squadrons.[2] It was originally referenced in Star Wars Legends in the 1995 comic X-Wing Rogue Squadron 1.[3]
