A battle group of the New Republic Defense Fleet was active following the Battle of Endor during the Galactic Civil War. It consisted of the MC75 Star Cruiser Temperance as its flagship, as well as at least four EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates, at least five CR90 corvettes, and at least seven GR-75 medium transports. Vanguard Squadron was the prominent squadron of the battle group. It was led by Commander Lindon Javes and was reassigned to Project Starhawk on his arrival to the post where the battle group was incorporated into the Nadiri fleet.[1]
