"If we leave now, we should get to Tangrene just about on time for the big battle."
Wedge Antilles, to Wes Janson and Derek Klivian[5]

The Dona Laza system was a star system located in the Dona Laza sector of the Expansion Region.[1] It contained a planet that hosted the Dona Laza tapcafe and the Mumbri Storve cantina.[3][4] The Dona Laza system was located at a distance of approximately twenty-eight hours of hyperspace travel away from the Tangrene system.[5]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Dona Laza tapcafe in relation to the Dona Laza system.
