A disruptor cannon
A disruptor cannon was a large-sized disruptor weapon. Disruptor cannons were larger than personal disruptors (such as disruptor rifles) and were usually designed to be mounted on vehicles. Disruptor guns were most effective against armor plating but least effective against deflector shields.[1]
Examples of starfighter-mounted disruptor cannons in use during the Galactic Civil War included Rendili StarDrive's Fr13 Disruptor, MandalMotors' QV-3 Disruptor and Cygnus Spaceworks "Eradicator 1" Disruptor.[1]
Grand Protector Navik the Red was rumored to have installed disruptor cannons on RHTC-560 HT Drones. He purportedly used the disruptor-armed drones against prisoners for his own amusement.[2]
