Biography

Diran was an individual who resided on the Outer Rim Territories moon Toshara during the reign of the Galactic Empire.^[1] By 3 ABY,^[2] Diran had planned to leave Toshara with a group of people in order to to escape the Galactic Empire. Their plans included taking a human farmer named Nih with the group. They wrote a data message three days before they had planned to leave which detailing their plans and noting that they knew Nih would need convincing but was sure she would come around to the need to leave. Diran also mentioned in the message that they had stashed a getaway bag in a cave south of Gushiro Canyon on Toshara in case the group decided to leave via the canyon route towards the Pyke poaching station. A datapad containing Diran data message had been left at a windfarm in the Lost Steppe region of Toshara^[1] by 3 ABY.^[2]

During that year, the scoundrel Kay Vess Vess found the datapad that had Diran's data message and later traveled to the cave where she discovered a Miyuki Trade League smuggler cache.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Diran was mentioned on a datapad in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Reading the datapad starts the "Getaway Stash" intel quest which directs the player to the cave with Smuggler Cache 22.^[1]
