Dianectric Menagerie

The Dianectric Menagerie was a display of creatures that,[2] in 90 BBY,[3] was set up at a celebration of Outer Rim cultures on the planet Serenno hosted by the Count of Serenno, Gora. Creatures visible in the Dianectric Menagerie included blatterborn and hunanetre. The visiting Jedi Initiate Dooku and Gora's daughter and the former's sister, Jenza, were delighted by the Menagerie.[2]

Dooku later recounted the incident in a holo-letter to Jenza.[2] Around 23 BBY,[4] Dooku displayed a holographic data disk that detailed the events around meeting his sister, including their visit to the Dianectric Menagerie, to his recently-recruited Sith assassin, Asajj Ventress. The pair listened to the recording, after which Dooku gave Ventress several more disks for her investigation into Jenza's location.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Dianectric Menagerie was mentioned in a flashback sequence in the audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott[2] and published on April 30, 2019.[5] The spelling of Dianectric Menagerie was confirmed by the audio drama's script release[1] on October 1 of the same year.[5]
