Devalok was a terrestrial planet known for its gardens and gardeners[2] that was located in the Devalok system in the Altier sector of the Expansion Region.[1] During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, Devalok fell under a brutal attack from the Separatists despite having no strategic value, during which its cities and gardens were destroyed. Republic Military forces were forced to retreat, evacuating refugees from the Amrit spaceport. During the assault, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker rescued the children Zohra and Dumuz and their parents from the ruins of their apartment and the Enki greenhouse. Devalok was also known for being the homeworld of Jedi Master Uma Kalidi.[2]
