The Detention Guard repulsorcraft was used by stormtroopers serving on the Detention Level on-board the first Death Star. It was armed with multiple energy weapons and could be operated in two modes, with either the hull opened with the driver exposed or closed to protect them.[1]

Players had to defeat this craft at the end of a level of the Super Star Wars video game, which referred to it as "Detention Guard Boss."[1]
