Desert plum

Desert plums were a kind of food that grew on Tatooine beneath the sand. They were eaten by galoomps. Because they only grew in places where there was a decent amount of water in the soil, moisture farmers would regularly watch for galoomps digging for desert plums, as this indicated there was water in the soil.
