- "My sister tried to join up with Dark Wing at Port Borgo. Said it was basically impossible."
- ―A Rokana Raider
Dark Wing were a group active in Port Borgo,[1] a lawless asteroid spaceport,[2] during the reign of the Galactic Empire. A woman tried to join the group there, but later told a sibling in the Rokana Raiders pirate group that it was basically impossible. The sibling then shared this information with a comrade in the Raiders while guarding the Khepi Tomb in the Khepi system[1] in 3 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Dark Wing was mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] which released on May 15, 2025.[4] The group originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Pirates & Privateers, a 1997 supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Timothy S. O'Brien and published by West End Games.[5]
