"This is a courtesy message to inform you that the postings to this topic are being monitored by G. Bresch, Lieutenant, Cularin Militia. The Militia appreciates your continued vigilance."
―culmil1, posting on the Cularin holonet node[1]

An individual who served the Cularin Militia during the Clone Wars used the ID culmil1 when posting on the Cularin holonet node. Following the circulation[1] on the Cularin holonet[2] of a story in which a Thaereian military soldier Nightwing killed his superior officer, Kulkis, many people theorized that the tale had been written by Osten Dal'Nay,[1] a Thaereian military defector and a founding member of the Cularin Militia.[3] On behalf of the Cularin Militia, culmil1 posted on a Cularin holonet node thread speculating on the story to advise that Lieutenant G. Bresch of the Cularin Militia was monitoring their discussion.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Cularin holonet node user culmil1 was created by Morrie Mullins and was mentioned in the Wizards.com article Everyone's a Critic, a tie-in to RPGA's Living Force roleplaying campaign. The article takes the form of a set of posts on the Cularin holonet node discussing the story about Nightwing and Kulkis, one of which is a message from culmil1. The article does not confirm whether culmil1 is a handle used by G. Bresch, the Cularin Militia lieutenant referred to in culmil1's post, or whether, alternatively, culmil1 is a separate individual.[1]
