Crimplecress slices were a dish that the human moisture farmer Owen Lars had stored alongside roasted duodecipede leg sticks in the food storage compartment of the Zephyr-G swoop he used at his family's moisture farm on the planet Tatooine[1] in 22 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, crimplecress slices were first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Complete Vehicles. It was part of material reprinted[3] from the 2002 reference book Star Wars: Attack of the Clones Incredible Cross-Sections, which was written by Curtis Saxton and marked the food's first mention in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[4]
