- "Senalcor. Didn't we find that one last week?"
"That was Corsanel, Halland. Please keep up." - ―Halland Goth and TC-99
Corsanel was a fictious planet that was listed in Oolon's Star Almanac, a record of thousands of made-up star systems and their inhabitants written by the author Oolon and stored on data-tapes. Shortly after the formation of the Galactic Empire[1] in 19 BBY,[2] Colonel Halland Goth of the Emperor's Royal Guard and his TC-series protocol droid TC-99 came to possess the Almanac and read through the entries as an amusing diversion.[1] Later that year,[3] the pair found the entry about Corsanel within the first one-thousand-and-one entries, which only covered the first two tapes. A week later, TC-99 told Goth about the entry for the planet Senalcor, but the colonel mistakenly confused the new planet with Corsanel, causing the protocol droid to chide the Imperial officer.[1]
Behind the scenes
Corsanel was mentioned in the 2025 novel Master of Evil, which was written by Adam Christopher.[1]
