A female jeweler was the sister of[1] the human[2] Naboo female Corydn.[1] In 28 BBY,[3] Cordyn began working as a handmaiden to Galactic Republic Senator Padmé Amidala and took on the name Cordé. When Amidala and her handmaidens visited their homeworld—the Mid Rim planet Naboo—for a holiday before the second session of the Galactic Senate, Cordé had her sister design and make pins that could be used within the hairstyles for the senator that could double as weapons or tools, yet be small enough to pass most security scans. As she packed before leaving Naboo to return to the Senate, Amidala mentally noted about the pins Cordé's sister had made for her.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cordé's sister was mentioned in Queen's Shadow, a 2019 young-adult novel written by E. K. Johnston as the first installment in the Star Wars: Queen's Series.[1]
