- "Amazing."
"Wizard.""
"Can we go back tomorrow?" - ―The Conjeni, human, and Snivvian members of Kowak Clan shout to Master Yoda
The Conjeni were a star-shaped sentient species. During Lina Soh's time as Supreme Chancellor during the High Republic Era, Force-sensitive Conjeni younglings were part of the Jedi Order's Clan Kowak. On one particularly hot day, the clan was chaperoned by Jedi Initiate Reina Bilass to a lesson at a swimming pool near the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. On the return journey to the temple, some of the rambunctious group wore their Jedi robes while others remained in swimsuits.[1]
Upon reaching Processional Way in front of the temple, Bilass silenced the Conjeni and other younglings with a snap of her fingers, causing them to fall into a straight line as they approached the steps to the temple. Grand Master Yoda and Jedi Master Avar Kriss then emerged from the structure to greet the group, and when Yoda asked how their swimming lesson had gone, the Conjeni younglings shouted back gleefully in response along with their human and Snivvian companions. Kriss then led the group into the temple to lead them in meditation.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Conjeni first appeared in "What a Jedi Makes," a short story written by Michael Kogge and published in the 2022 anthology collection Stories of Jedi and Sith.[1] The species originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they appeared in "Treasure Hunt," an adventure written by Todd Quigley and published in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 supplement produced by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Conjenus system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Conjeni species.
