- "For example, Commandant Angor was noted for his relevant and robust combat strategy classes, and often worked closely with Commandant Bedgar who instructed officer cadets on the intricacies of military administration. Together the pair were able to produce well-rounded officers who could both act in combat and undertake the bureaucracy that was inherent in leadership positions."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
Combined Officer's Curriculum 27 was a file that detailed the combined curriculum of Commandants Angor and Bedgar at the Corulag Military Academy on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Corulag. The two were paired due to their complementary skills, with Bedgar's lessons covering the intricacies of military administration and Angor's lessons covering robust combat strategy.[1]
This resulted in the curriculum turning officer cadets into well-rounded officers who were both combat ready and able to deal with the bureaucracies of leadership. The file was stored in the Imperial Archives and cited by the historian Beaumont Kin when[1] he[3] discussed the commandants in his book, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire,[1] in 35 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
Combined Officer's Curriculum 27 was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
