Biography
Colee Quillo was a human who came to owe an enormous debt during the High Republic Era and ended up living a life on the run. He hired the services of slicer Syreth Dunn's crew of thieves in the Corporate Sector to wipe his name from the ledger of the Corporate Sector Authority and clear the debt, but had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and was arrested with the crew as Dunn's buyer. Due for processing by the Detention Task Force, he was placed on board the DTE-CSA-17 Calaboose prison ship Palwick[1] in a cell with Dunn and several members of his crew[2] in 132 BBY.[3]
Quillo and the imprisoned crew heard rumors that the meknek Verosha Aniseya, who was imprisoned in the cell next to the buyer and Dunn, had killed a Jedi, a feat unheard of among the other impressed prisoners. Dunn attempted to recruit her into a plan to escape the prison ship, but she refused, and so the criminals proceeded without her. The Hybroid Rott Mercer forced the prison ship out of hyperspace[2] in the Carlac belt by exploiting a flaw in the starship's droid crew[1] and deactivating the variable geometry droid pilots. The warden droid was then destroyed by the prisoner[2] Shorwilt Tor Bez'lin,[1] who used its arm to unlock the cell holding Quillo and the others. Quillo piled into an escape pod with Dunn and his crew, abandoning Aniseya and the incapacitated prisoner[2] Melo Tolicus,[1] and ejected from the ship.[2]
Quillo was swiftly detained with the crew once again and shared a holding cell with them once more behind a force field on the detainment level of the Jedi Temple on the planet Coruscant. He stood staring through the field as Jedi Master Sol passed by and ignored cries from Dunn and Bez'lin claiming that they had done nothing wrong and blaming the escape on Aniseya. Sol then learned the truth of Aniseya's involvement from Tolicus, who had been imprisoned in a cell beside Quillo and the others.[2]
Personality and traits
Quinn had light skin and brown hair that, along with his general appearance, was unkempt following his time on the run.[1]
Equipment
While imprisoned, Colee Quillo wore black robes and a hidden money belt where he stored Corporate Sector Authority vouchers that were removed prior to his imprisonment.[1]
