- ―The droid warden
A droid warden served aboard[3] the DTE-CSA-17 Calaboose prison ship Palwick[4] during the High Republic Era. While the Palwick ferried a number of prisoners, including the meknek Osha Aniseya, to Coruscant, several of the convicts planned an escape. When Rott Mercer remotely deactivated the transport's pilot droids, causing it to drop out of hyperspace above Carlac, the droid warden responded to the security breach. Another convict, Tor Bez'lin used a tentacle to grab the droid from through the cell bars, tearing off its head. The convict then detached the droid's arm, using it to unlock the cells. Syreth Dunn took the arm and opened another cell, before all of the prisoners, aside from Aniseya and Melo Tolicus, fled in an escape pod.[3]
Behind the scenes
The droid warden appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Acolyte, released on June 4, 2024.[5] Creatures effects artist Robert Skene worked on the mould for droid as part of Neal Scanlan's team.[6]

Robert Skene (@robskenefx) on Instagram (post on July 21, 2024): "Now that Acolyte has finished, here are just a few of the characters I was involved with bringing to life. Everything was a huge team effort with everyone at CFX, and it was a dream come true, getting to be a part of it. My contribution varied from character to character, including clay walling, matrix molds, drafting cores, processing 3d printed molds, molding prosthetics and more, working alongside the fantastic team in Moldshop under Kenny Wilson. #starwars #theacolyte #cfx #creaturecantina #moldmaking #mouldmaking" (screenshot)
