Behind the scenes

Circuit Breaker Modules first appeared in the current canon in the mobile video game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, developed by EA Capital Games. In the game they are used to upgrade "mods",[1] which were added on July 12, 2016,[2] and are used to improve characters.[1] In the Legends continuity, the circuit-breaker module originated in the 1978 The Star Wars Holiday Special.[3]
